A good SEO headline should always satisfy two criteria: clarity and curiosity. By providing clarity, you’re letting the reader know what the article’s about without any need for prior context. There aren’t many free, intuitive programs that give you the kind of super-valuable information that Google Analytics (GA) does. Search engines often reward you for updating old content. But remember, you only get a reward for actually making the content more relevant! Google follows links. Links are important. So get the word out. Reach out to other site owners – preferably of topically related websites.
Removing the duplicate content can have a very positive influence on the rankings of your pages
Thin content is the idea that there’s not much actual text on an ecommerce site compared to, say, a blog or software site. Imagine dozens and dozens of thin content pages created because of random product attribute and product filter pages. Some of those pages might only list one or two products. Asides from sending direct
traffic, backlinks will help you achieve better rankings in search engines. However, if you will build bad backlinks, you will end up being penalized, and lose most of your organic traffic. If you have the exact match domain name, search engines will give your domain priority. If you are serious about your website, at least install Google Analytics or any other preferred statistics app. Collect data about your visitors, and find out what the customer journey on your website is. Find out what pages people like and which pages they dislike.
Made a website, but is not showing in the SERPs?
We’ve all experienced the frustration of a slow-loading site. And there’s plenty of evidence showing slow-loading sites perform less well. Adjusting your keyword distribution
gives you power to change your campaign over time. Similar to your title tags, meta descriptions are a simple, but highly effective way to improve your SEO. Meta descriptions are used to generate the small paragraph of text that appears below a page’s title in the search results. It’s clear that there is a link between the websites which rank highly for a certain keyword and whether or not that keyword appears in its URL. However, this is unlikely to be the only factor that determines whether or not a site can rank well.
Create appropriate content with the right kind of keywords which are searched for
Unlike some aspects of the mysterious Quality Score “secret sauce,” we know that Google takes landing page relevance into account when calculating Quality Score Search engines also rate keywords in header tags more heavily. By including relevant terms in your header tags, you are also boosting your SEO ranking against those keywords. Bear in mind that your keyword or phrase should be the most frequently used term in the body text of any given webpage. This is called keyword density. However you shouldn’t overuse this signal – if you stuff the copy with keywords then your text won’t be readable and Google will likely penalise you for not writing for human readers. According to SEO Consultant
, Gaz Hall: "A little known yet enormously effective strategy for improving the results from local search results is by using reviews to grow your organic traffic and naturally stand out among the competition."
Follow Google's advice on this
Search engines are ranking pages for a given query and including links that are relevant and semantically (synonyms, close-variants and tangentially-related phrases) related to the topic. Duplicate content is content
that appears in more than one place online. When there are multiple pieces of identical content, it's difficult for search engines to decide which version is more relevant to a given search query. When a search query is being typed,
the search engine looks in its index,
even while it is being entered, for the
most relevant information and displays
the results in the SERPs. The results are
then sorted by relevance. You need to figure out your customer’s path to purchase (the buyer’s journey), before you can show up with the right content in each phase.
